Toastmasters Club
When You Walk In
"Hello, welcome" is the first thing you'll hear when you come to our Monday evening meeting (2nd and 4th Mondays at 7 PM) at the McCarthy Auditorium at Peabody, MA. At the North Shore Toastmasters Club you set your own speaking pace. You will have lots of friends encouraging you to talk at every meeting. Whether you are giving a speech or leading one of the meeting roles every time you speak you get more comfortable at it. You will become a better speaker.
The North Shore Toastmaster's McCarthy Auditorium
The McCarthy Auditorium seats 50 people. Members speak at the podium in the front of the room. It can be challenging to speak in this setting. As you become comfortable speaking in front of the club you will become comfortable giving the toast at your niece's wedding. Every Toastmaster Club has its own personality. At the North Shore Toastmasters we kid each other, laugh and look forward to our time together. We want you as a newcomer to be in on the jokes, too. Yet when a person is giving a speech we are very respectful. Much thought goes into giving a good speech. You can become a better speaker at the North Shore Toastmasters Club.
Joining The North Shore Toastmasters Could Just be the Best $45 You Have Spent All Year
You are welcome to attend The North Shore Toastmasters at every meeting. As a guest you are welcome to take part in Table Topics, off the cuff speaking we do at every meeting. To give a speech and be evaluated you must be a member. The first ten speeches you will give are 5 to 7 minutes long. Toastmasters International provides you with a guidebook which helps you become a Competent Toastmaster after those first 10 talks. Each talk is evaluated. You will hear what you did great and what could be improved. Membership dues are only $45 every six months. You will walk away a better speaker.
